New bias binding is here, made from our four Exclusive 100% Organic Hemp fabrics in Buckwheat, Rye, Pink Salt and Kale! Use as a contrasting, or matching feature on necklines, ruffle edges and pockets or have as a special hidden detail on inside seams and a for bias faced hems, creating a unique high-quality finish to your garments.

New this week is an array of chic-looking tweed blend styles, think vintage-inspired jackets, suits and skirts! These timeless fabrics never go out of style and make for lovely special occasion wear or a way to add some interesting texture to your everyday outfit.

A range of glorious new cotton gingham, checks, stripes and prints have been freshly added to our online collection this week! These crisp but lightweight styles are an absolute dream to work with - we can't stop thinking of all the beautiful blouses, shirts, dresses and pyjama sets we'd love to make up.

Calling all Liberty lovers! Our final drop of Liberty fabrics for the year have arrived in stores, this incredible bunch mostly includes sheer silk georgette fabrics ideal for colourful summery garments but also in this mix are a few rare Liberty Jacquard styles and an amazing velvet!

This lovely calming earthy palette of new deadstock lightweight linens are fresh in stores this week. Perfect for homeware items, or DIY gifts like napkins, tea towels, aprons or pajama sets!

Easy DIY gift alert! Included in this week's new arrivals is this dreamy Italian Linen Blend Throw panel, in classic natural with ink coloured stripes this slubby textural fabric has been cleverly woven in sections, separated with tassels in between. These tassels can then be cut in half widthways to separate the panels and create an instant throw, perfect for the couch, picnics, the beach or to wear!

An eclectic array of new fabrics are new in stores this week, with a handful of cute stretch cotton prints and solid colours in the mix along with some eye-catching jacquard and tweed fabrics perfect for special occasion garments for the upcoming festive and summer season!

We knew we had to get our hands on these irresistible deadstock coating and suiting fabrics when we saw them, as you can never be too early in preparation for the next season! Pop into your nearest store to swoon over this delicious palette, as colourful coatings like these are rare and won't stick around long!

New this week are a small range of deadstock Lenzing TENCEL™ Lyocell fabrics! These opaque, ultra-soft twill styles are a super versatile mid-weight and have a beautiful drapey handle!

Lenzing TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are made from FSC certified wood pulp cellulose and are produced within a closed loop, low-impact process. They’re also certified biodegradable and compostable, making them an ideal fabric choice for the sustainably-minded sewist! This calming palette of colours are available in all stores now.

Please note the colours of these fabrics will soften with washing, creating a subtle stonewashed effect. This is a raw dye finish designed to wear, and is not deemed as a flaw. We strongly advise pre-washing this fabric, with colours separated.

Calling all Hemp lovers! This week we’re delighted to welcome the arrival of our first four colours in our Exclusive Organic Hemp range - Kale, Rye, Buckwheat and Pink Salt. We've been working on this project behind the scenes for quite some time, having partnered with our long-term linen supplier to perfect the handle and finish of this beautiful new certified organic fabric. This midweight quality is in between our Vintage Finish Linen and our Heavyweight Linen at 170gsm in weight, and has a light bouncy handle. It’s also yarn-dyed, so features a delightfully flecked finish and softly granular texture. Not unlike linen, the beauty of hemp is that it grows softer and softer with wear and care.

One of the best things about this fabric is its versatility! Hemp’s natural UV resistance, antibacterial and breathability properties make it a perfect option for an array of garments. Think go-to dresses, billowy blouses, skirts and shirts, as well as all manner of homeware pieces!

Our Hemp is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 - a worldwide, independent testing and certification system for textile products at all processing levels. If you’d like to know more about how and where our Hemp is made and its sustainable properties head over to our sustainability page.
